Conducted on the new moon and full moon days of the lunar calender The new moon and full moon days of the lunar calender, called the Uposatha days are special days for Buddhists. The Buddhas requested his monks to come together in communion on these days. We too come to venerate the Three Jewels on these special days.
Support of monks

Offering to monastics In support of men and women who dedicate their lives to the Dhamma we organise trips to monasteries to offer robes and requisites
Dhamma teachings by visiting monastics

Talks and guidance given by invited monks and nuns We invite well known monastics, both local and foreign to teach at the Centre. Many of them are gifted teachers and masters
Short courses on Dhamma

Weekly courses providing a systematic study of the Dhamma Experienced tutors are invited to lecture on Buddhist doctrine

Blessing services in schools We reach out to school children in our locality by inviting monks to chant suttas and to give talks at schools
Blessing Services

Conducted for children before major examinations Monks are invited to chant parittas or protective suttas to remove obstacles and instill confidence in children before major exams.
Save a Life Program

Release of captive animals into the wild In our practice of compassion, we rescue animals destined for slaughter from markets to release into the wild. This kamma results in improved health, and long lives in participants
Fellowship events

Meals, trips, and picnics held occasionally These events bring members, families and friends together in fellowship for the Buddha praised friendship among spiritually inclined persons
Pilgrimage

Trips to the holy land Together with other societies, we participate in pilgrimages to the holy land blessed by events in the life of the Buddha

Dhamma propagation through the print media We maintain a library for the lending of Dhamma books. In addition, we publish books and CDs for free distribution in our efforts to disseminate the Dhamma
Special Projects

These are organised when the need arises and conditions come together.
